What makes me laugh about the latest SimCity was it seemed like the ‘limited edition’ (ie, regular version) was a cut down version of the game with features taken out from the full priced one.
Another thing that bothers me is the distinct lack of screenshots of interfaces in games that are heavily interface orientated. Cities XL is another example of this and I’ve presumed that in the last five years or however long they’ve produced a game a year, that it has absolutely no interface in the game at all*.
* I know it does, but I had to _look_ for them just to see it.
This is the average price of new PC releases – I really hope that average doesn’t go up.
EA seems to be using Origin as a mechanism for restricting supply and jacking up prices. This actually costs £44.99 from Origin directly.
£44.99 – wow ! That’s getting on for half a hundred pounds. Just another reason to love Origin 😉
Not to mention permanent online connection required or the game stalls. YAY!
Mind you, this is still the typical price for Sims 3 and how old is that?
Unfortunately that shop is UK only, I would have loved to buy at least SC2 HotS and maybe this one.
