At that price with 2 pairs of included glasses, why not if it’s good quality and you’re into 3D? Especially if it could also be used with the PC.
Personally, I remain a bit skeptical… though if the right monitor came along at a decent price I’d buy it. It would have to support PS3 and PC, and preferably the xbox too.
Presumably if a display takes a 3D signal over HDMI for the PS3 it’ll deal with Xbox too. So far displays that handle 3D in both HDMI and however nVidia does it don’t seem to be all that common, but there are more cropping up all the time. I think Acer have a 27″ one too.
I have been trying to figure out how to make the most out of the PS3’s 3D offerings, especially since the Ico pack gained support for it. Most 3D TVs are more expensive than this, but they’re also bigger. The split screen thing sounds nifty, but I couldn’t see myself getting so much use out of it. Either way, there’s no room in my wallet for a new TV at the moment, so I’ll wait a while longer and see.
