After I moaned about them charging £2 for shipping this morning, Gamestop decided to make their shipping free. Which is nice.
Does anyone know if the “Xbox Live Arcade Pack” is on a disc, or will it be download codes? Either way, this is a pretty great deal.
And the gamestop server dies a horrible death, with an error form that asks me what OS I was using. Which is odd… I don’t think a website has ever questioned what OS I was using as a cause for error.
It works well enough after a few judicious refreshes here and there, seems to be recovering from whatever it was slowly but surely. Also, they accept paypal.
Thanks for this. It’s less than the amazon price for the charge and play pack alone.. Awesome. I don’t think its download codes though because I haven’t recived any.
Wow, they really did listen to you. Its like you are a celebrity or something!
Quick make more suggestions to them!
I hope they do some promotional discount codes. Perhaps 15% off. Maybe just for pre-orders though otherwise they might not be ok with 15%.
The new Gamestop site i mean.
The games are on a disc, no codes required, however, it comes bundled with codes for a copy of Ms Pac Man and a 48 hr Live trial.
So we are getting 4 games then if we get ms pac man?
Yes, the play and charge pack is not a microsoft one but made by GXP, the disk packaging is in german/french but if you read the sheet that comes inside the game box it says:
To activate 48 hours free XBox Live Gold and download Ms. Pac-Man.
So you’ve got three games on disk and a code to download Ms Pac-Man.
All in all an absolute steal.
