From my own experience, there is no problem in transferring save files from Steam ME1 to Origin ME2. But I can’t deny that a really cheap Steam offer would make me think about buying it again, as Origin seems to not do autopatching.
Perhaps at some point it might be this cheap on Steam. I’m still working on the first from the EA sale a month or two back, so I’m not in a hurry to get the second yet.
I’ve been waiting on a sale of this one for a while…. But I think that buying the DLCs would make it expensive and it’s better to wait for a GOTY with the dlcs.
I for one am rather annoyed at all the DLC. It’s stupidly expensive (in comparison to the price of the full game) and I hear there’s some good plot stuff happening there.
Thats tempting, but I’m holding off on buying anything at the moment, I keep reading that the steam summer sale is just around the corner.
I highly doubt that ME2 would be any cheaper than his on steam during the sale.
However, if we have the first one on Steam it seems sensible to get the second one on it, for the save files.
