Erm, although it registers on Steam, it registers the incredibly censored German version (God knows why…). After emailing gamersgate, they replied saying that without Steam, the game is the usual wonderfully uncensored English version. It’s downloading now anyways.
I don’t know if the deal still on, but well if I thought i’d comment in case anyone was stuck with a load of SPIEL.

Be careful with registering it on Steam.
I tried registering a copy of Saints Row 2 that I got from GamersGate and it was a german (censored) version.
I contacted Steam support and they told me they only accept keys from Retail shops.
The clint for the game that I downloaded from GamersGate was English so I just stuck with that and didn’t use the Steam copy.
Also the game is horribly buggy and broken on the PC but still damn fun, and well worth that price.
