Excite Truck, Wii – £6

If you’ve not played this yet, it really is bloody fantastic. Probably one of the best games on the Wii actually. Certainly the best £6 you can spend on an arcade racer for it.

I a little confused as to why Nintendo never released Excitebots in Europe. Still it made me feel nostalgic, it was like the Nintendo of the 80s and 90s. I had been looking for this priced under £8 for a while now.
You can console yourself with the fact that it’s a inferior sequel in almost every way.
Completely untrue! Excitebots is amazing!
Excitetruck is great too, but the sequel blows it out the water in my opinion.
If you like waggle-QTEs instead of mad racing.
It’s also much easier, and the music rocks no way near as hard.
Not to mention that about half of the tracks are reused ones from Excite Truck.
And it’s even better when you stick in an SD card of your own music. Really really improves it.
But yes, fantastic.
