They say they’ll e-mail the code in 1 to 5 working days and the one I ordered a few hours ago hasn’t arrived yet so buying it specifically for something in this sale might be a bit of a risk. Ah well, there’s always another sale.

Just got my promo code from WeShop, didn’t try it yet but afaik you can not use this one plus “hailtothechief” at the same time, as D2D gives you to enter only one code per item.
My experience too. Grrrrr. Annoying when someone posts that this works (as Lewie mentions, an RPS commenter did report it worked) only to find that they were making stuff up and it doesn’t.
Also annoying when D2D add tax on when you get to the checkout.
Wish I hadn’t bothered now, and it’s certainly put me off buying from D2D in the future.
To be fair, the thing that was said to work was the code from Weshop, not that code and the 20% off code at the same time.
Not sure I understand? I bought the code from weshop and tried the hailtothechief 20% off code (the ones that were supposed to work together) and they don’t, just like Raz0r reports too – not sure which other code you are referring to?
Ok, you’re saying that an RPS commenter reported that using both codes at once works. Though I haven’t seen the comment, when Lewie responded to the first comment saying that it works, the only question was as to whether or not the WeShop code worked, not the 20% code, nor both at the same time.
Ah – I see what you mean. Yes, the RPS commenter that Lewie was referring to (who had posted on his Bargain Bucket thread over there) had responded to another comment about using both codes at once and had said that it had worked for him.
I never had much doubt that the weshop thing on it’s own would work – I’ve bought stuff from the US site of D2D a couple of times before and weshop seems fairly reputable.
FYI everybody–as Raz0r says, you CANNOT combine this with other coupon codes (such as “hailtothechief”). When you enter your WeShop code, it will remove any previous codes–only one is allowed at a time.
