    I can confirm that it registers on steam, no need for uplay.

    How is it done then? Do you get a key from ubishop to register on steam?

      Basically, when you actually buy the game, it’ll process the payment, the page will refresh and if the transaction is succesful, you’ll see SERIAL: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

      That’s your Steam key.

    I can also confirm this is a Steam key and uplay is not needed. Bought the game a while back during the last sale they had on the game.
