Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam free with Steam copy of BC2

I just got this message from Red:

For the steam sale copies, at least. If you add the code to EADM, you can select the Digital deluxe version, which apparently includes Vietnam as well.

Does this work for you?

Update: This is confirmed as working for multiple people now, so get on it ASAP before EA realise this mistake/Change their minds.

Update2: Possibly only if you got in the sale/recently.

Humble Indie Bundle update

The Humble Indie Bundle 2 has just updated, and if you have already bought it at any price, you’ll also get all the games from the first bundle for no extra cost. If you’ve not got the Humble Indie Bundle 2 yet, if you buy it now for a price that is above average (average at time of writing is $7.32), you’ll get the games from the first bundle too.

You can also register all of the games on Steam if you like.

It’s a bit complicated, so details are here.

Cheers Mike.

Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light, Xbox 360 – 600 MS Points

Today only.

The Kane & Lynch Character pack is showing as free to Xbox Live gold subscribers for me too, although the one you would actually want (Raziel & Kain) is 400 points. Seems like the reason they polled people about which one they wanted the most was to work out which to charge for and which to give away for free.

Cheers deanlove for the tip off.

GamersGate Christmas Sale

Unlike Steam, GamersGate have their sale all in one place, in a sensible list. Thanks guys.

Some highlights include:
Civilization IV Complete – £3.74
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat [Loyalty Edition] – £5.98 (Requires you to own either Shadow of Chernobyl or Clear Sky to get, but you just have to have them insalled, can be retail or other digital)
Chains – 74p
Broken Sword Triple Pack – £4.98

There are a lot of offers that double up across the Steam and GamersGate sale, so I’d suggest checking to see which is cheaper before purchasing, or chose whichever service you prefer.
