For those that like all their eggs in one basket, the product keys can be registered on Steam. I’ve just tried and tested it.

Can anybody confirm, that this activates on Steam?
From what I’ve heard all Supreme Commander keys should activate on Steam now, but I don’t want to put up with the stupid limitations of the THQ store, in case it doesn’t.

Yes it definitely works, one key will activate both products on Steam, so you end up with two Steam keys

Not quite, only the Forged Alliance key registers on Steam, the standard one does not work ( i have tested this and only one allowed registration). But the forged alliance key provides you with both games on steam

I can also verify it works on steam. I imagine whichever key is registered first will get you both games as I tried forged first then regular.
The optional £3.84 “Download” protection for the next 2 years amused me 😀

Thanks guys!
Bought it today and activated the Supreme Commander key on Steam, which gave me both games.
It seems like the Forged Alliance key is a valid Steam key, as well.
