I had the same problem a few weeks back. It’s basically their payment system where they try to test your card by putting a transaction for £1 and cancelling it. Unfortunately, a lot of institutions flag that as suspicious because credit card fraudsters use the same tactics.
I e-mailed Gamefly requesting they put the whole amount through rather than testing my card to see if it was credit worthy. They couldn’t get it done. An exercise in futility …

I tired buying off them yesterday, wouldn’t go through so cancelled. Useless, never use them again.

They won’t accept my credit card which was billed successfully by iTunes three days ago.
