Digital Distribution game deals
I just received word from Direct2Drive that for Black Friday they are going to be offering 20% off your total order. I’ve asked them whether that will include preorders, and I’ll update when I hear back from them.
I’ll scour their site for the best offers to take advantage of this deal, and get they posted on SavyGamer when the deal goes live.
Here’s my post compiling everything from the Steam Autumn Sale 2011. I’ll keep this up to date with all the daily specials throughout the sale, so you can always check back here to see everything that’s on sale in one place. Unlike normal deals posts on SavyGamer, I haven’t checked that these are the cheapest place to get the games in question from, and when I spot something that is avaialble for less elsewhere, I’ll inclue a link to the cheaper alternative too. Remember, unless something is on Daily Special, it’s best to wait until the end of the sale, because it’s possible that it might be available for less as Daily Special later on. I’ve emboldened my personal recommendations.

Uplink, Darwinia, DEFCON, Multiwinia, Aquaria & Crayon Physics Deluxe!, PC/Mac/Linux – £2.36 at time of writing
Pay more than the average price to get Aquaria & Crayon Physics Deluxe!, or pay any price you like to get all four Introversion games.
All of them come with keys to optionally register on Steam.
Also comes with two Introversion tech demos, the Subversion City Generator, and a Voxel Tech Demo.
Dragon Age 2, PC – £7.49
Only available at that price via the Origin client, not the Origin web site. I have no idea why.
Crysis 2, PC – £7.49
Only available at that price via the Origin client, not the Origin web site. I have no idea why.
Waves, PC – £5.94
Today is your last chance to get this at 15% off (I believe). It’s a superb game, easily among the best twin stick shooters from the last few years.
Registers on Steam.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution [Augmented edition], PC – £17.49
Registers on Steam.
Cheers Tom for the tip off.
Medal of Honor, PC – £3.75
Warning: This is one of the dullest games I have ever played.
Most actually have Mac versions too, and Super Meat Boy will eventually.
All are individually 50% off, except for Half-Life 2.
Magicka, PC – Free Weekend
It’s also discounted to £1.99, you can get the game with ten bits of DLC for £4.24 and the four pack is £5.99 (£1.49 each)
