Dead Space: Ignition, PS3/Xbox 360 – Free
The XBLA/PSN prologue/minigame/PreLC/whatever the hell it is can be had for nothing, instead of its usual price of 400 MS Points/£3.99.
If you preorder the Dead Space 2 at GAME on your format of choice (PS3/Xbox 360), you get a free code for Dead Space: Ignition. You can then cancel your preorder and not be charged a penny.
They send out the codes on Wednesdays, so if you preorder today, you’ll get it next Wednesday.
Spotted with a little help from doboworth.

#ZavviFail
These are the emails Zavvi are sending out. Via @TechReviewsUK.
For some reason, Zavvi are incapable of shipping products on time, just look at the hashtag #ZavviFail for dozens of customers who have been messed around by Zavvi’s erratic stock levels and delivery times. Why are they waiting sometimes weeks after release date to ship preorder games? For a retailer that calls themselves “the UKs favourite online entertainment site”, they sure have a lot of unhappy customers.I’m probably going to have to be cautious of linking to them during the Christmas period if they they aren’t going guaranty to get stuff to people before the 25th.
Edit: I’ll be posting deals to Zavvi and other The Hut retailers (although complains are mostly centred around Zavvi at the moment) as usual, but with with a disclaimer.

Civilization V, PC – £2.35
Final Update: This was a pricing mistake that some people were lucky enough to be able to capitalise on, everyone else will be getting a full refund, and £3 credit. Details here.
Civilization V, PC – £2.35
You just get a code to plug into Steam. I can absolutely confirm that it works.
Thanks Darkhadou for the heads up.
Last night this seemed to not be working for some people, and I’m looking into what went wrong for them now, but it appears to be back up and working properly now. Please let me know either way in the comments, so I can track whether it’s working correctly or not.
Coolshop are….well, pretty cool, so I’m sure that if you don’t get the game out of this, you’ll get a refund.
Update: It now appears to not be working for most people. I’d say it is totally still worth ordering whilst it is displaying this crazy low price, because you’ll either get the game, or a refund, but maybe dial your expectations down.
