Saints Row 2, PC – £1.74
Optionally registers on Steam, but I if memory serves me, last time a SavyGamer got this from GamersGate, the code registered the censored version from Steam, whereas the version downloaded from GamersGate was uncensored.

Yeah it’s the censored german version on steam.
When I bought the game, It registers German Version on Steam. And the gamersgate version do not includes the last patch (this patch fix a lot of things of the game and is almost necessary).
The last patch is Steam only.
So, finally I could receive a refund (in Blue Coins, not real money) of the game I bought.
is it still worth this 1.74 tho even if its censored? (want it on steam)
You miss out on half the fun with the censored version to be honest.
I’d suggest waiting for a Steam sale if you REALLY want it on Steam

From this thread: “The German version is extremely censored and thus incompatible with almost every mod, fix, or tool outlined in this FAQ. “
Yep its the censored german version on Steam, quite dissapointing.
Even if it weren’t censored, it wouldn’t be worth a penny. The stuttering is a pretty widespread problem that makes it unplayable. Horrible port.
After applying the latest patch and using a sort of hack to slow down the game (as it runs too fast on modern PC’s) I didn’t have any problems with stuttering.
Yes it’s a bad port and yet with all it’s flaws it’s one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played.
For everyone who bought the game, apparently gamersgate sent out sent out new serials and the game should now be activated as the retail English version replacing the old, censored, German version.
