Looks like it’s no longer available at the price I quoted here.

Evilore’s actions following the allegation are more troubling to me than the allegation itself, given it’s just a case of he said/she said, and based on the lack of corroborating information, I’d be inclined to give both parties the benefit of the doubt. His decision to purge all politics and social issues from the site is confusing and counter-productive. It’s also not possible, since he won’t be removing all politics and social issues from discussion (since that is impossible), he is just going to be removing those which he deems to be unacceptable.

There’s also no real logical argument for removing politics and social issues from the website in response to this allegation. It’s two totally unrelated events and he’s just muddying the water by tying to two together.

Plenty of people have already fled. I have no real loyalty to the site, it was just a good place for discussion, with plenty of knowledgeable and passionate people. If that resurfaces elsewhere then I’d have no reason to visit Neogaf.
