My brother tried to order one on my behalf, but the website had a coronary. No PS3 for me (unless he lied and is secretly keeping it for himself).

I had one in the basket but it showed up at full price, went back to main page and basket reset to the correct price, then went to checkout, forgot my password, reset my password, logged in, it was still in basket, went to checkout… ‘Your basket is empty’ wha?!

Boo, my fault for forgetting my password I guess (and not taking into account the bizzare basket/reserve system)

Jesus Christ, what a piece of crap website. I am so annoyed right now. I had the thing in the basket, went to put in an HDMI cable as well, and they sold out. I thought all modern websites put an item on hold for you for fifteen minutes so that you don’t get this stupid scenario. I can’t fathom how stupid you have to be to do this, especially since it’s just guaranteed I won’t use this new Ebuyer account for anything ever.

It’s not working yet… maybe they haven’t activated yet? Although I have the impression they may have pulled the offer already.

With GT5 out tomorrow, the demand may have scared them a little…

In reply to Lewie Procter. Nah, he should really leave the Ebuyer website alone at 11am. It's the responsible thing to do. *cough*

In reply to Mark Raymond. If you're in the market for a PS3, then this is definitely one of the better deals I've seen on one.

What do you reckon? A decent price worth going for?
