Demon’s Soul, PS3 – £30.19 delivered

Chinese version, which has English voices and text, just has a Chinese manual.

I am pretty sure there is no other meaningful differences between this and the USA release. Confirm/Deny?

Asian versions play on the Asian servers. American version on the American server. If voice chat is supported, that might be an issue. I don’t know because I’ve been playing offline to keep my tendancies nice and white…

American version comes pre-patched (so no infinite souls exploit), and has a few translation differences, most of which can be found on http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/north-america-differences.

Finally, the Asian covers show the character dead (YOU WILL DIE LOTS) whilst the American cover has the character simply steaming, which is less awesome :(

Got mine for £38 from a small franchise store nearby. Worth it. Helps to follow a good video LP if you’re dying too much (the one on Something Awful is excellent).

      Thanks, I’ll update that now.

There’s no voice chat online so you don’t miss out there. You do, however, miss out on the occasional pure-white/pure-black days they organise online (xmas was pure white, halloween pure black) but I can’t say that’s a massive disadvantage.

Oh yeah, the text you can leave laying around is different, but it still makes sense.

    This is harsh. Evaluate me.
