I think its a custom one, but seems to require online activations. They say the “You can uninstall and re-install your game on the same PC as many times as you may need to.
You can automatically activate your game on any number of PCs within reason.
The number of automatic activations varies between games depending on the game publisher’s DRM policies. If you reach this number, it can easily be reset by our customer support”

Actually, in checking this I noticed something, the UK store appears to be powered by metaboli, whereas the E-mail mentioned Digital River. (Oddly not on the web version though) Suggest that not only is any offer likely to be regionally restricted, but that we are dealing with two entirely separate stores.

I haven’t tried but wondered if anyone knows what kind of DRM Atari use for their downloads?
I have a disk copy of I-War 2: Edge of Chaos but wouldn’t mind a legit disk free version at that price.

Odd, I can’t get it to work either. I half wondered if it was dependent on you having an account. Possibly it was just a single day offer then, or is US only and they didn’t bother to check the location of their users before sending out the E-mail.
